New Bills Proposed to Protect Consumer Access to Medical Marijuana Extract

Two bills have been introduced to protect consumer access to cannabidiol (CBD).

We have a growing opioid painkiller epidemic in this country—one that has followed the scandal of so many heart-health-destroying or cancer-causing pain relievers being approved by the FDA. There is a natural alternative, and of course the government is intent on banning it for no reason at all—other than to clear the way for a blockbuster new drug.

Rep. Morgan Griffith (R-VA) has introduced two bills, the Legitimate Use of Medical Marijuana Act (HR 714) and the Compassionate Access Act (HR 715), both aimed at removing federal obstacles that prevent patient access to CBD, a medicinal extract of the marijuana plant.

These bills follow a recent move by the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) that classified marijuana and all its extracts as Schedule I controlled substances—a category that includes heroin, LSD, mescaline, and MDMA. Note that none of the CBD extracts contains significant amounts of the psychoactive chemical in marijuana—only the non-psychoactive painkilling chemicals.

Although “CBD” or “cannibinoids” are not mentioned in the Controlled Substances Act (CSA)—the legislation that the DEA must follow in creating rules related to controlled substances—the agency nonetheless lumps CBD and all other constituents of the plant into the definition of “marijuana.”

Tennessee Mom Gives Birth to Premature Twins 3 Times - Surviving Babies Medically Kidnapped for Research?

The story of Nashville, Tennessee, mother Tamika Seagraves and her children is one of tragedy upon tragedy.

Tamika has been pregnant 3 times, and in each case, she gave birth to premature twins, a boy and a girl every time. The first set of twins, Zayden and his sister Ziria were micro-preemies, born at just 24 weeks. Though Ziria grew stronger and eventually went home, Zayden never went home. He only survived 13 days.

Two years later, Jordan and Jaliyah were born at 35 weeks. When Jordan passed away at just under two months of age, his mother began questioning, looking at vaccines and the vitamin K shot. At the same time, Child Protective Services began questioning and looking at HER.

Jordan’s autopsy stated that the cause of his death could not be determined, but DCS (Department of Children’s Services) has blamed Tamika. Instead of closing out the case when the autopsy report came back, DCS stepped in and seized custody of Jordan’s twin sister Jaliyah.

According to court documents, DCS has accused Tamika of demonstrating “erratic behaviors” because she refuses vaccinations, stopped a medication for her child out of concerns for its side effects, “tried to have Jaliyah seen by a holistic chiropractor as opposed to a pediatrician.”

On December 5, 2016, Tamika gave birth again to another set of twins. When they were 4 weeks old, DCS seized both of them as well.

All Tamika wants is to have her children back home and to be able to grieve the loss of her two sons. She wonders if her children are being used for medical research because of the unusual circumstances of their births – against incredible odds – 3 sets of twins, all premature, all boy/girl sets, the only children born to an African American mother, with 2 of the boys dying as infants?

Missouri Laws to Ban Mercury and Foreign DNA in Vaccines

In January 2017, State Representative Lynn Morris introduced HB 331 in the Missouri House of Representatives prohibiting vaccines containing mercury or other metals used for preservation or any other purpose from being administered to a child or adult in a public health clinic in Missouri. If passed, the legislation would take effect on Aug. 28, 2018.

A second bill, HB 332, introduced by Rep. Morris, seeks to restrict the use of certain vaccines containing foreign human DNA. It requires that chicken pox and shingles vaccines administered to patients in public health clinics must not contain foreign human DNA contaminates. The two bills are in response to public concerns regarding vaccine safety.

Vaccine mandates and policies at the state level are generally based on the vaccine schedule and guidelines recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease and Control Prevention’s (CDC). HB 331 and HB 332 aim to invalidate the CDC’s recommendations of vaccines that include mercury and other toxic substances.

Although the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) maintains that “All forms of mercury are quite toxic, and each form exhibits different health effects,” the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) continues to minimize the dangers of mercury in vaccines. The FDA admits that thimerosal (a mercury based preservative) is still being used in vaccines in varying amounts.

Amish Farmer Found Guilty of Mislabeling Products Not Approved by FDA - Faces Up to 48 Years in Prison

A jury found Kentucky Amish farmer Sam Girod guilty last week of breaking FDA laws in mislabeling his home-made herbal salve product. His sentencing hearing will be in June, and he reportedly faces up to 48 years in prison.

Sam Girod had no attorney representing him, and in his closing statement he made simple declaratory statements of truth.

“There was never an injured party in this case.”

“I’m not dealing with drugs. Their testing will show that.”

“I did not purposefully or knowingly violate one law. That’s not what I do.”

“I changed the labels on different times but I kept getting harassed.”

“Most of all, it’s taken some of our freedom away.”

German Supreme Court Upholds Biologist's Claim that Measles Virus Does Not Exist

A recent episode in Germany created a stir in the field of microbiology when microbiologist Dr. Stefan Lanka claimed he would award anyone 100,000 Euros who could prove the existence of the measles virus.

At first it appeared he had lost. But Dr. Lanka took his loss to a higher court with more experts and the backing of two independent laboratories. He wound up not having to pay. It turned out that the “proof” provided was a composite of several different electron microscope images. And the composite involved different components of damaged cells. The composite could not be duplicated. The German Federal Supreme Court confirmed that there was not enough evidence to prove the existence of the measles virus.

Study: Vitamin D Is More Effective Than Flu Vaccine

Conventional health authorities claim getting a flu shot each year is the best way to ward off influenza. But where’s the actual science backing up that claim?

If you’ve repeatedly fallen for this annual propaganda campaign, you may be surprised to find the medical literature suggests vitamin D may actually be a FAR more effective strategy, and the evidence for this goes back at least a decade.

Dr. John Cannell, founder of the Vitamin D Council, was one of the first to introduce the idea that vitamin D deficiency may actually be an underlying CAUSE of influenza.

His hypothesis was initially published in the journal Epidemiology and Infection in 2006. It was subsequently followed up with another study published in the Virology Journal in 2008.

The following year, the largest nationally representative study of its kind to date discovered that people with the lowest vitamin D levels indeed reported having significantly more colds or cases of the flu. In conclusion, lead author Dr. Adit Ginde stated:

“The findings of our study support an important role for vitamin D in prevention of common respiratory infections, such as colds and the flu. Individuals with common lung diseases, such as asthma or emphysema, may be particularly susceptible to respiratory infections from vitamin D deficiency.”

Since then, a number of studies have come to similar conclusions. Most recently, a scientific review of 25 randomized controlled trials confirmed that vitamin D supplementation boosts immunity and cuts rates of cold and flu.

Overall, the studies included nearly 11,000 individuals from more than a dozen countries.

Missouri Girl Medically Kidnapped Deteriorates in Mental Institution

For the past three years, 27-year-old Chasity Marietta has allegedly been languishing away at the hands of a state-owned mental institution in Missouri against her will while being robbed of her freedom, civil rights, and what her mother says is “her God-given destiny.”

Chasity says she is being held against her will and is suffering neglect. It has tested her faith in ways that most could never imagine, asking, “Why has God deserted me?”

Meanwhile, health problems and behaviors that were once eradicated have returned, and Chasity is allegedly medicated so much that she is only awake for seven hours a day. Yale School of Medicine: Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Vaccinations

There are questions being raised about children who are diagnosed with neuropsychiatric disorders and their association with vaccinations, according to the results of a pilot case study published in Frontiers in Psychiatry/Child & Adolescent Psychiatry last month.

The study, which was conducted by researchers from the Yale University School of Medicine and the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine Department of Public Health Sciences, is based on the principle that the immune system plays a key role in normal brain development and in the pathobiology of several neuropsychiatric disorders. As a result, the autoimmune and inflammatory disorders affecting the central nervous system have been found to be “temporally associated with the antecedent administration of various vaccines.”

Researchers examined the association between the administration of vaccines in children ages 6-15 years old who have been diagnosed with conditions such as anorexia nervosa, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), tic disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), major depressive disorder and bipolar disorder.

What they discovered was that there is data to suggest that children who were newly diagnosed with anorexia nervosa were more likely to have been vaccinated in the previous 3 months than those in the control group. They also found that children vaccinated with the Influenza vaccinations during the prior 3, 6, and 12 months were also associated with incident diagnoses of anorexia nervosa, OCD, and an anxiety disorder.

Several other associations were also significant, including correlations between hepatitis A with anorexia nervosa and OCD; hepatitis B with anorexia nervosa, and meningitis with anorexia nervosa and chronic tic disorder.

The principal findings suggest that children with OCD, anorexia nervosa, anxiety disorder, and tic disorder were more likely to have received influenza vaccine during the preceding year.

Dead Doctor's Research Expanded: Natural Cures Seen for Autism and Cancer

When Dr. Jeff Bradstreet unexpectedly and tragically died in the spring of 2015, many of us wondered what would happen to the research he was doing with GcMAF, Goleic, and Bravo yogurt, which he was using to help children with autism. Uprising in Alabama? Public Educates DHR Board Member on Facebook Regarding Child Welfare Horrors

Last week (February 2017) we published the story of Shanley Devlin of Walker County, Alabama, and how her family was torn apart by the Department of Human Resources (DHR). Shanley was removed from the custody of her parents at the age of 14 after she became pregnant during the April 27, 2011 tornadoes. Her parents were housing many people from the neighborhood during the storms.

In spite of the fact that the family wanted to raise the baby in their home, Alabama DHR allegedly charged the parents with “inadequate supervision,” and both their daughter and grandson were placed in foster care. Their daughter Shanley is now 20 years old holding a steady job and has place to live, but because she grew up in foster care, DHR will not allow her son to live with her.

When we posted Shanley’s story on our Facebook Page, the story quickly went viral with many people in Alabama sharing their own horror stories with DHR in Alabama on our Facebook Page.

Someone posting as Margaret Morgan Silbernagel and claiming be “a member of the Esc. Co. DHR Board,” apparently decided (or was appointed) to stand up for DHR and asserted: “This story cannot be accurate.”

But Ms. Silbernagel was apparently not prepared for the firestorm of comments that was about to come her way, as she later admitted: “This conversation has certainly been an eye opener. I do not do what I do for recognition or for any of your approvals.”

One of comments came from someone identifying herself as “the former mother-in-law” of the DHR social worker Judy Kitchens’ daughter. Judy Kitchens is mentioned in our story as the social worker that removed Shanley and her baby from her parents home. Linda Motes Pullins stated that she did not think Judy Kitchens should be a social worker given the problems she alleges exist in Judy’s own family, which she alleges includes a history of drug abuse.

Amish farmer Sam Girod of Owingsville makes 3 products: a chickweed salve, a bloodroot salve and an essential oil blend called Sine Eze. You can find similar products online. In fact, you’ll find the recipes online. You can make these products in your kitchen, it’s not rocket science.

A few years ago, the FDA came after Sam for labeling crimes — Sam said his salves could cure certain things and that’s a big FDA no-no. Sam immediately fixed the labels as per FDA demands. But then the FDA fixated on him and just would not let go. I’ve seen this over and over and over again. An alphabet agency gets you in its sights and just will not quit.

State agencies are bad enough, but the feds… the feds are especially lawless. There is no accountability in a federal agency, they break their own rules as a matter of course.

Alabama DHR Destroys Another Family: Baby Taken Away Because Young Mom was a Foster Child Kidnapped from Loving Parents

All that Shanley wanted for her 20th birthday on February 22 was to get her son back from DHR, and to no longer be considered a foster child herself. Ashton was born while Shanley was in foster care, and when she was kicked out of her foster home last summer at the age of 19, she was not permitted to take her son with her. Alabama social workers tell her that she cannot get him back at this time because they still consider her a foster child, even though she is legally an adult, living on her own with both a job and an apartment.

Shanley is not accused of any kind of neglect or abuse, so it doesn’t make sense to her that Walker County Department of Human Resources (DHR) refuses to allow her to have her son with her.

Shanley was taken out of the home of her parents at the age of 14 because she got pregnant on the night of April 27, 2011, a date that most in the south will never forget, as 252 people lost their lives in the 62 tornadoes across the state of Alabama. Her parents were accused of parental neglect because they had a house full of neighbors that night and did not prevent their daughter from getting pregnant. Her parents and other family members wanted to raise the baby in a loving home, but Alabama DHR did not allow them to raise the baby, and they lost their 14 year old daughter as well.

Flu Vaccine Efficacy Reported in Media is Fake News Says Medical Doctor

Foxnews.com (February 17, 2017) posted a story titled, “Flu Vaccine is only moderately protective this year, CDC says.” (1) The article stated, “Overall, getting a flu shot cut one’s risk of contracting flu and needing to see a doctor by 48 percent this season, when the effectiveness of the various components of the vaccine were assessed together, according to the report published in the CDC’s online journal Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR).” This story is a perfect example of fake news.

The flu vaccine is a toxic mess that can contain mercury and other unwanted substances that should never be injected into any living being.

Is Virgin Coconut Oil the Future in Natural Medicine for Skin Conditions?

There are several testimonials by people using virgin coconut oil (VCO) for improving scalp conditions, hair, and skin issues. But it’s doubtful that a certified dermatologist would recommend that for most skin issues.

It’s more likely that an external skin condition known as atopic dermatitis (AD), which causes excess dryness, inflammation, and pruritus (itching) will be prescribed a corticosteroid cream to apply topically.

Dr. Paul Thomas: "INSANE" that Media Does Not Want a Commission on Vaccine Safety

Dr. Paul Thomas, M.D., is a board certified pediatrician with a thriving medical practice in Oregon. He is neither anti-vaccine nor pro-vaccine. His belief, which today tragically is a minority view among physicians, is that the health of our children should come first, and that everyone should want safe vaccines.

Another Alzheimer’s Drug a Huge Flop

Two years ago we reported that Eli Lilly had a potential blockbuster drug for Alzheimer’s in the third and final phase of FDA trials. If it won approval, it was expected to bring in $7.6 billion in sales by 2024.

The results are in, and it’s back to the drawing board for Eli Lilly. The drug showed no statistically significant benefits in halting cognitive decline.

In the meantime—clearly intending to approve this new Alzheimer’s drug—the FDA launched an attack against key brain health supplements picamilon and vinpocetine. There was precedent for such a move—the FDA did the same thing to tryptophan before the first SSRI antidepressant drugs came out. It’s a key move in the crony playbook.

Texas Child "Protection" Services: Pipeline to Child Sex Trafficking

The Texas Tribune is running a series of articles this month highlighting the problems of child sex trafficking in Texas.

They point out how:

Eighty-six percent of runaway children in the United States suspected of being forced into sex work came from the child welfare system, according to a 2016 analysis of cases reported to the National Center on Missing and Exploited Children. Of the 79,000 child sex trafficking victims estimated to be in the state, the vast majority were in foster care or had previous contact with Child Protective Services, according to a recent University of Texas study.

We applaud the Texas Tribune for covering this issue.

However, as in most mainstream media reports on issues such as this one, the corruption in Child Protective services is seldom, if ever, reported, or the fact that the majority of children taken from their homes are NOT for reasons of abuse, but for “neglect.” Children taken into custody by the state represent a significant source of income for those employed by the state for “child welfare.”

In a recent report from Connecticut, for example, we see that 90% of children entering the system are NOT for abuse, but “neglect.” This is generally true in every state, and “neglect” is such a broad category, that we have seen children taken away from parents for disagreeing with a doctor over the care of their children, allowing the children to run around outside barefoot, taking a child out of school to start homeschooling, having a dirty house, etc.

A stunning 70 percent of all antibiotics important in human medicine in the U.S. are sold for use in animal agriculture. The bad news is that Olive Garden, KFC and 14 other chains received F grades and little progress has been made on pork and beef.

Medical Freedom at Risk in 2017 as Many States Seek Laws for Mandatory Vaccines

In 2015 and 2016, NVIC monitored over 200 vaccine-related bills introduced in more than 40 state legislatures, including 31 bills in 21 states that tried to restrict of eliminate vaccine exemptions. With tens of thousands of Americans actively using the online NVIC Advocacy Portal, NVIC led a grassroots effort of concerned citizens and supportive parental rights and health freedom groups to educate legislators with well-referenced information about diseases and vaccines. Forced vaccination bills were defeated in 29 out of 31 states, including in Virginia, where NVIC is headquartered.

By February 2017, vaccine legislation had been introduced in 30 states that threaten vaccine freedom of choice, including bills in eight states to restrict or eliminate vaccine exemptions in Arkansas (withdrawn), Connecticut, Iowa, Minnesota, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Texas.

It appears that an elected official in Morgan County, Missouri, has the power to keep Helen and Charlie Taylor apart no matter how much they want to be together.

Shortly after our article was published, the day before Valentine’s Day, Helen was told that she is no longer permitted to visit her husband in the nursing home, which is located in Callaway County, Missouri. Helen is devastated. She told us:

“He is the love of my life. We just want to be together.”

During Helen’s visit with Charley Monday at the nursing home, she said 2 nursing home employees told her that the administrator wanted to meet with her in her office. In that meeting, Helen was told that she was not allowed on the premises anymore. Further, if she returned, they would call the sheriff’s department, and she would be arrested, according to Helen.

She was handed a letter signed by Conservator Amanda Huffman stating that Helen was interfering with Charley’s care and that the nursing home was to stop all visits from her with her husband.

Tell Congress Homeschoolers Do NOT Want Government Money!

It has been said that there is no such thing as a free lunch. As homeschooling families know too well, government money will eventually lead to government control.

That’s why HSLDA is opposing a bill introduced by our friends in Congress, Rep. Steve King (IA) and Rep. Andy Harris (MD). Though well-intentioned, H.R. 610 is ultimately ill-advised. It calls for sending all federal education dollars to the states in the forms of federal grants so that the states can then give the money as vouchers to public, private, and homeschool students.

But HSLDA has repeatedly told our friends on Capitol Hill that our members and many other homeschooling families know that government dollars will eventually result in government regulation. Although we are grateful for our friends on Capitol Hill, and although we know that representatives King and Harris are well-intentioned, they need to hear loud and clear from the homeschool community. Even though the vouchers created by H.R. 610 would be voluntary, we believe that this would be a slippery slope toward more federal involvement and control in homeschooling.

If you do not want federal government “help,” if you just want to be left alone, this is the time to speak up.

Study: Government HPV Cancer Death Rates Found to be False - Higher Death Rate Among Black Women

The official report from the CDC and pharmaceutical companies is that HPV vaccines prevent cervical cancer. Various studies have been produced in the past couple of years to give credence to this belief, allegedly showing that HPV cancer rates are decreasing since the vaccine was introduced.

However, a new study just published shows that the data used by the government to determine HPV cancer deaths was inaccurate because of faulty data. It included women who had hysterectomies, and therefore had ZERO risk of developing cervical cancer.

One of the facts uncovered by this study was that the actual death rate for black women was nearly double than what was reported:

“For black women, the corrected mortality rate was 10.1 per 100,000 (95% confidence interval [CI], 9.6-10.6), whereas the uncorrected rate was 5.7 per 100,000 (95% CI, 5.5-6.0).”

The HPV vaccine only vaccinates for a very small number of known HPV strains, and as we have reported previously here at Health Impact News, these strains are the WRONG strains for African American women.

Given the fact that thousands of young women have been harmed by the HPV vaccine, and some have even died, one must ask why any African American woman would ever want to receive an HPV vaccine?

An even more important question to ask is why are government health officials and doctors continuing to recommend this vaccine to black women, and what can be done to stop this criminal practice, given the fact that U.S. law protects the manufacturer from being sued in court over injuries and deaths due to vaccines?

CDC, WHO and Big Pharma Collaborate to Conceal Vaccine-Autism Link Data from Public

Today in the U.S. and a growing number of other countries, the official policy is that any scientific study, regardless of its methodology, quality, author credentials, and peer-reviewed process is summarily dismissed as incomplete, irrelevant or unsupported if it finds a connection between any vaccine or combination of vaccines and autism spectrum disorder. Even when the CDC’s own immunologist, Dr. William Thompson, whistle-blows and provides thousands of pages of scientific data and research proving a vaccine-autism connection, the matter is rapidly shoved under the table. In the case of Dr. Thompson’s release of confidential documents to a Congressional subcommittee, the CDC intentionally concealed their evidence that African American boys under 36 months had a higher risk of autism after receiving the MMR vaccine. The documents also proved the CDC has know for a long time that neurological tics, indicating brain disturbances, were associated with thimerosal-containing vaccines, such as the influenza vaccine.

We have also known for over fifteen years, thanks to a Freedom of Information Act filing, that CDC officials, vaccine scientists on the CDC’s vaccine advisory panel, the WHO and private pharmaceutical executives met secretly for two days at the Simpsonwood retreat center near Atlanta to deliberate on the Verstraeten research’s findings proving thimerosal’s role in the rise of autism. The meeting was held for the specific purpose to find ways to prevent the findings from reaching the public, and spin and manipulate the data to disprove a vaccine-autism connection.

Study: Coconut Oil Improves Memory and Brain Function

There are many empirical episodes of improving memory and slowing or reversing dementia with coconut oil that are dismissed as “anecdotal.” Fortunately there are increasing scientific studies that corroborate the many remarkable testimonies of recovering from dementia to perhaps convince naysayers of coconut oil’s health and healing properties.

The in-vivo (animal) study “Enhanced memory in Wistar rats by virgin coconut oil is associated with increased antioxidative, cholinergic activities and reduced oxidative stress” was published in January of 2017. The research paper stated as part of its findings:

“The promising outcomes of this study strongly imply the possible use of VCO, not only as neuroprotective agents for those suffering from neurodegenerative diseases, but also as brain food.”

A Canadian study published this year around the same time titled “Coconut oil protects cortical neurons from amyloid beta toxicity by enhancing signaling of cell survival pathways” observed that coconut oil and its medium chain fatty acids (MCFAs) protect against amyloid beta (Aβ) induced neurotoxicity in primary rat cortical neurons.

Husband of Retired Missouri Couple Medically Kidnapped - Estate Plundered to Pay for Unwanted Medical Confinement

Last November marks the beginning of the fourth year that 70 year old Charley Taylor of Missouri has been held by Morgan County in a nursing home against his will, after a trip to the emergency room turned into a permanent medical confinement. Although he has doctors who have stated that he is competent and of sound mind, and although his wife Helen had power of attorney to make decisions for him if he was medically not capable, a state-appointed Conservator has been appointed to him by the court to make all decisions, even against his own wishes and the wishes of his wife.

Meanwhile his wife Helen, who has been fighting for her husband’s freedom, has also been battling against false accusations herself. She has been sent to jail based on false charges and later released due to lack of evidence, kidnapped and confined to a mental hospital until a doctor determined that there was nothing wrong with her, and has been evaluated five times to prove her own competency. She told Health Impact News:

“We were financially set for the rest of our lives after 40 years of marriage until I called 911. Our lives have been destroyed and I am told everything to do when I see him. If this is justice, I don’t need it. We want to be together. He is 70 years old, and I am 67.”

Helen and Charley worked hard for many years for everything that they owned—sometimes working several jobs in addition to their full-time jobs. Helen said, “I’ve worked all my life.” From 1979 to 2005 she was a field representative and managed doctors in medical facilities. She was so good at it that, she was sent across the country to open new facilities and train personnel. Additionally, Helen was also a mayor for two years in the town of Barnett, while also working a full-time job that required frequent travel, as well as a holding a municipal judge’s license.

Helen’s former attorney became very concerned for her safety. He asked, “Do they know where you’re at? I’m worried for you.” He told her, “They will kill people for that amount of money.” He advised her not to let those involved know where she is because they would rather kill her rather than be exposed and lose their income.

Big Pharma Attacks Natural Prostate Treatment

Last year, the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) published an editorial advising doctors to be cautious about using high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) to treat prostate cancer. The authors claim that there is no definitive evidence of safety and efficacy for HIFU.

This is nonsense. HIFU has been approved and used in Europe and Japan for over a decade. It has been studied and studied. The likely real reason for opposition from the medical establishment is that doctors are making billions from the earlier treatments and do not want to give up the income after years of training, despite the horrific side effects of impotence and incontinence that come with them.

The Crime of Being Poor: The State Takes Away Your Children

The Department of Children and Families is seeking to terminate the parental rights of a New London (Connecticut) couple whose son nearly died in a Groton foster home — an outcome, advocates say, that highlights the downward spiral of poor families who become trapped in the child welfare system.

Once poor parents become involved with DCF, they don’t have the legal resources to fight; they’re required to fix housing and financial problems to get their children back and there’s no public scrutiny or recourse if they feel they’re treated unfairly within the confines of private, juvenile court, advocates said.

“The confusion of poverty with neglect is the single biggest problem in American child welfare,” said Richard Wexler, executive director of the National Coalition for Child Protection Reform. Poor parents are more likely than middle-class parents to have their parental rights terminated because they’re more likely to have their children taken in the first place, he said.

The department served 73,360 children in 2016 and had 2,310 children enter DCF care, or 3 percent of the total served. Of the substantiated investigations by DCF, 90 percent are for neglect and 10 percent are for abuse.

Martin Guggenheim, a professor of law at New York University and co-director of the Family Defense Clinic, said the only children in foster care in the United States come from poor families. People turn a blind eye to the same behavior or inadequate parenting in middle-class neighborhoods, he said.

Study: Almost All Vaccines Contaminated with Toxins and Linked to Side Effects

A new study, titled New Quality-Control Investigations on Vaccines: Micro- and Nanocontamination published in the International Journal of Vaccines and Vaccination, represents an unavoidable wave of clear information supporting an immediate moratorium on vaccination, suspension of government laws mandating vaccination, and simultaneous legal action at numerous levels to investigate a criminal vaccine industry and the establishment offshoots that have worked to prop it up.

What did the new Italian study find?

Examining 30 vaccines — representing 44 samples in total — the researchers found particulate matter, in aggregates and clusters, of micro- and nano-sized particulate matter in 43 of the 44 samples whose presence was not declared in the leaflets delivered in the package of the product.

The authors state:

“We had never questioned the purity of vaccines before. In fact, for us the problem did not even exist. All injectable solutions had to be perfectly pure and that was an act of faith on which it sounded impossible to have doubts. For that reason, we repeated our analyses several times to be certain. In the end, we accepted the evidence.”

Prescription Medications: Third Leading Cause of Death

Health care providers should be searching for ways to make our patients healthier, not just treating symptoms with prescription drugs that provide no health benefits. Drugs do not make us healthier. And, keep in mind that many commonly prescribed drugs fail most who take them.

Dr. Peter Gotzsche, director of the independent Nordic Cochrane Centre claims that taking too many ineffective and unsafe prescription drugs could be the biggest problem we are facing today. He said:

“It is an enormous problem. It’s one of the biggest problems we have in the world today, but people don’t realize how terrible it is. I have estimated that our prescription drugs are the third major killer after heart disease and cancer. And I have recently looked at psychiatric drugs, and these drugs are so harmful that they alone are also your third major killer after heart disease and cancer.”

Doctor Tells Former Amish Mom that Stress from Medical Kidnapping of Her Children is Killing Her

At a recent hearing on January 27 regarding Elizabeth Byler‘s two oldest children, Judge Nancy Vernon shocked everyone when she announced that she was recusing herself from all dealings with Elizabeth and her children. The formerly Amish mother from Pennsylvania says her children were medically kidnapped when she was hospitalized following a serious accident. When Health Impact News asked if Judge Vernon’s recusing herself and bringing on another judge would prolong the case, a member of Elizabeth’s family said that it is unknown at this time.

One of Elizabeth’s doctors is a major supporter who follows the story, and he has expressed concern for her wellbeing. Elizabeth said that he told her that she has been experiencing “massive, massive panic attacks from everything she’s been through in her life.” He went on to say that they “could lead to a heart attack later on.” He told her, “This story is going to kill you if you keep going.”

As Medicinal Cannabis Heals More People, Federal Government Increases Restrictions to Stop It

The most recent governmental bureaucratic actions against medical cannabis was a joint effort of the DEA and FDA, both of which work together to ensure the pharmaceutical industry can dominate medical applications of cannabis. Early this year, 2017, cannabidiol (CBD) was placed firmly as a Schedule 1 Drug on its controlled substance list, even though CBD is an extract from cannabis that does not have psychotropic effects (no “high” from usage.)

Because CBD does not produce any psychotropic effects, and yet is effective for several medical issues, most notably epileptic seizures, it has been allowed for children with epilepsy even in some states that do not permit full plant cannabis with THC medically.

Yet now the DEA says it’s as medically useless and dangerous as heroin.

Big Pharma Failing Diabetics: Diabetes Can Be Prevented, Controlled, and Reversed Naturally

Celebrity doctor Mehmet Oz exclaimed on national TV not long ago, “Alarm bells are ringing. The CDC estimates that one third of all Americans will develop diabetes and will live 15 years less and lose quality of life. No public health problem compares in scale.”

The burgeoning diabetes epidemic comes mostly in the form of type 2 diabetes. Of the 29.1 million cases of diabetes estimated in 2014, only 1.25 million were type 1 diabetic, less than five percent. Type 2 diabetes is actually a life style disease, preventable with proper exercise and diet, and even reversible the same way.

Pharmaceutical medications for type 2 diabetes rarely if ever improve that condition, and their side effects are actually precursors for other diseases, even cancer. A type 2 diabetic prescribed insulin will most likely become type 1 diabetic instead of curing type 2.

Diabetes 2 is happening among a large portion of our population who are victims of SAD, the Standard American Diet of processed and fast foods as well as other poor and sedentary lifestyle choices. And injecting insulin for type 2 diabetics, though sometimes prescribed, is decried as the wrong approach by others who consider it like pouring kerosene on a fire to put it out.

New Lyme Vaccine Pushed, Same Vaccine Corruption Revealed

Despite a long absence of any official acknowledgement from the CDC, the general public has long-echoed the sentiments of Richard Horowitz, MD, author of Why Can’t I Get Better? Solving the Mystery of Lyme & Chronic Disease when he recently told Fox5 New York:

“There is not even a doubt that we are in the middle of a full-blown epidemic in the United States.”

The FDA has given the green light to test another Lyme disease vaccine on humans after two decades of failed attempts to develop an oxymoronic ‘safe vaccine’ to counter the disease.

For now the question appears, as Lyme vaccine testing continues in the background, how hard and loud will government agencies, pharmaceutical-funded corporate media organs, and industry-captured medical journals bang the drums to manufacture a consensus for a predictably unsafe and ineffective vaccine?

Study: Antipsychotic Drugs Are Killing Our Elderly

A new study has found that taking powerful antipsychotic drugs significantly increases the likelihood of premature death for Alzheimer’s patients.

The study looked at 58,000 people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s between 2005 and 2011. Those who were prescribed antipsychotics (usually to control the unruly behavior some Alzheimer’s patients display) had a 60% higher risk of dying than those who didn’t take the drugs.

The study confirms current recommendations that antipsychotics be used only for the most difficult cases for a short period of time.

As we’ve reported previously, this advice has not been heeded. A 2015 report from the Government Accountability Office found that nearly one third of seniors with dementia who spend more than 100 days in a nursing home were given antipsychotic drugs—despite the fact that the FDA has never approved such drugs to be used for behavioral problems from dementia.

2 Year Old South Carolina Child Medically Kidnapped is Sexually Abused by Nurse in Foster Care

Kaya Thomas, a South Carolina mother, is wondering how the state can justify taking custody of her 2 year old daughter, Egypt, when they admit that she has done nothing wrong to harm her daughter. Egypt was taken into custody when her biological, non-custodial father, almost beat her to death during a visit with her. The father is currently in prison serving an 18 year prison sentence for the crime he was convicted of committing.

When it came time for little Egypt to leave the hospital, her mother Kaya Thomas says that the Department of Social Services kidnapped her child and placed her in foster care, because they decided that she was incapable of taking care of her child who is now labeled as “special needs.” Instead of working with her to train her in how to take care of her daughter, the state of South Carolina provided a home health nurse 20 hours a day to a foster family that is unrelated to the child. Kaya tells us this option was never offered to her, even though she is the mother.

While in the care of the foster home, the child was allegedly abused sexually by her home health care nurse, who has since been arrested and incarcerated.

Now, they want to terminate Kaya’s parental rights and adopt her out, even though, in their own words, she “was not accused of inflicting the injuries.” She doesn’t understand how her child can be taken “for something I had nothing to do with.”

Scotts-Monsanto GMO Grass Threatens National Forests, Rivers, Ranchers, and Farmers

Over a decade ago, Scotts partnered with Monsanto to market a GM bentgrass resistant to glyphosate (Roundup). It was planted next to the Malheur National Forest in test plots ostensibly controlled by Oregon State University. Unbeknownst to most people, it was also planted all over the US—in California, Iowa, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and seventeen other states.

It was supposed to be confined and controlled, but it very quickly escaped and spread out of the test plots in Oregon into Idaho, and crossbred with natural grasses to create new breeds that were also resistant to glyphosate. It clogged up irrigation ditches, threatening food crops and contaminating pasture-raised cattle with GMOs. In addition to the immediate threats to farmers and ranchers, grass seed—which is among Oregon’s top five commodities—is now under threat.

Initially, Scotts-Monsanto tried to stop the spread and clean up the contamination. But it was unable to do so because the original bentgrass (and now the other grasses it cross-pollinated with) are glyphosate-resistant. More toxic herbicides have been brought in to try to keep irrigation ditches clear, and to stop the grasses from clogging and eventually killing waterways important to wildlife and humans.

CDC Publishes New Rules for Quarantine and Isolation on Last Day of Obama Presidency

There are new U.S. government rules that can force travelers into quarantine or isolation if they are suspected of having a contagious disease. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) published their revised rules explaining how they will intervene to protect the public from the spread of quarantinable communicable diseases such as Ebola.

For those of us who prefer to minimize our contact with the conventional medical care system and its pharmaceutical products, these new rules should cause us to carefully consider our health status when traveling across state lines or traveling back to the United States during a CDC health emergency. If we have symptoms of illness that might be confused with a communicable disease, then it might be wise to carefully consider our travel plans.

The rules were released on the last day of the Obama Administration, 1/19/2017, and will take effect on February 21, 2017.

Under these rules, if a CDC medical professional examines and quarantines you under a public health order, certain medical procedures, such as mandatory vaccinations, could be required as a condition of your release.

The Vaccine Science is Unsettled

The foundation of scientific research on human health is the clinical study, and the strength and reliability of conclusions reached is a direct reflection of the study methods used in that research. If the trial design is sound and the research methods followed with integrity, the results will be robust. If not, the results are going to remain open to question and interpretation.

One of the most widely repeated phrases bandied about by those who maintain that vaccines very rarely, if ever, cause injury and death is, “the science on vaccines is settled.” Aside from how absurd it is to insist that any science is ever completely settled, such a statement presupposes that vaccine safety and efficacy studies have been rigorous and exhaustive and that their conclusions, therefore, are reliable and authoritative.

It would be great if that were the case. Sadly, it is not.

Homeschool Arkansas Dad Files Federal Lawsuit Against Officials Who Kidnapped His Children

This isn’t just about their family, Hal Stanley told Health Impact News in a recent interview. Study: Antacids During Pregnancy Linked to Increase in Asthma in Children

Not only do they make your acid reflux problems worse, acid blockers actually sicken your unborn child.

An analysis of eight different studies, including data from over 1.6 million patients, found that taking heartburn medication during pregnancy significantly increases the risk for asthma for the baby.

The researchers found that proton pump inhibitors (such as Prilosec or Nexium) increase the risk of babies developing asthma by 30%; other acid blockers (like Pepcid and Tagamet) increased the risk by 46%. These are huge numbers.

This is of course only the latest alarm bell to go off regarding Big Pharma’s wrong-headed answer to acid reflux and stomach problems. These drugs are the poster children of everything wrong with our current medical establishment and drug approval process.

Nurse Whistleblower Confirms NICU Pre-term Babies Being Injured by Vaccines

Within the realm of the vaccine industry, there are many tragic stories and underreported bombshells waiting to be spotlighted. One such narrative, hiding in plain sight, is the routine vaccine injury happening in hospital neonatal intensive care units (NICU) across the US.

Two nurses have recently come forward as whistleblowers to reveal the harm being caused to these low-weight micro premature babies by vaccines. In addition, new research from the Journal of the American Medical Association Pediatrics journal titled “Adverse Events After Routine Immunization of Extremely Low-Birth-Weight Infants” confirms what these nurse whistleblowers are revealing:

“All ELBW [extremely low-birth-weight] infants in the NICU had an increased incidence of sepsis evaluations and increased respiratory support and intubation after routine immunization.”

How long will the US medical system continue to sweep these daily NICU vaccine injuries under the rug to save face for their hospitals and the larger CDC-pharmaceutical complex? How long will doctors and nurses continue to follow orders against the established medical ethics of “do no harm”?

What Does Roundup Do to Your Liver?

If you started your day with a bowl of oatmeal, Cheerios or even organic cage-free eggs, there’s a good chance you consumed a small amount of glyphosate residue along with it. Likewise, if you’ve recently snacked on popular brands of crackers, tortilla chips and pita chips, or consumed beer or wine.

As the results of increasing numbers of independent tests come in, it’s becoming increasingly clear that glyphosate, the active ingredient in Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide, is showing up virtually everywhere — in our food, water and even in baby food and women’s breastmilk.

It’s not altogether surprising — glyphosate is the most heavily-used agricultural chemical in history — but it is incredibly concerning. The health risks of glyphosate, though downplayed by the chemical’s makers, are accumulating daily. A recently published study shows even small amounts of glyphosate in the diet can cause liver damage.

Study: High Amounts of Aluminum in Brains of Alzheimer's Patients

There have been unconfirmed suspicions that aluminum toxicity is at least a factor for dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. There seems to be no doubt that aluminum is a neurotoxin, but whether there is an aluminum link to Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, has not been fully explored just recently.

A new study, “Aluminium [British spelling] in brain tissue in familial Alzheimer’s disease” does just that. A pathological brain study of deceased individuals whose bodies were donated by family members. It was conducted in King’s College of London and Keele University of Staffordshire, UK, and published December 2016 in the Journal of Trace Elements in Medicine and Biology.

The study’s conclusion:

“Aluminium is neurotoxic and the concentrations of aluminium found in these familial AD brains are unlikely to be benign and indeed are highly likely to have contributed to both the onset and the aggressive nature of any ongoing AD in these individuals. These data lend support to the recent conclusion that brain aluminium will contribute towards all forms of AD under certain conditions.”

How the Government Destroyed Dr. Loren Mosher’s Research Proving Therapy by "Non-professional Caregivers" was Superior to Psychiatric Drugs

Psychiatrist Loren Mosher (who earned medical degrees from both Harvard and Stanford) was the highly esteemed founder of the experimental Soteria Project, which was subtitled “Community Alternatives for the Treatment of Schizophrenia” from 1971 to 1983. The Soteria Project proved that patients with first-onset psychotic breaks could be successfully treated – even cured – outside insane asylums by non-professional caregivers, in unlocked neighborhood facilities and without the coercive use of neurotoxic, dependency-inducing and dementia-inducing drugs.

Five years before his untimely death in 2004, and long after he was hounded out of the NIMH and mainstream psychiatry for doing the right thing, Dr. Mosher wrote: “Despite what the pharmaceutical companies would have us believe, we don’t need ‘a better life through chemistry.’ The Drug May Be Your Problem will help debunk this myth and provide practical advice on how to avoid psychiatric drugs and get off them.”

Study: Virgin Coconut Oil Protects the Liver from Harm Caused by Chemotherapy Cancer Drugs

A study published in January 2017 in Nigeria shows the hepatoprotective effect of virgin coconut oil when used with MTX cancer chemotherapy.

Chemotherapy drugs are known for damaging the liver. Unlike the U.S., where government dietary advice is still against saturated fats and coconut oil, many of the coconut-producing countries are learning that their traditional diets high in saturated fats, and specifically coconut oil, are actually healthy. There is a wide body of research now looking at the health benefits of coconut oil, specifically virgin coconut oil, which is less refined than machine-made commercial coconut oils.

The current study from Nigeria acknowledges that the “emerging health benefit of virgin coconut oil (VCO) has been associated with its potent natural antioxidants.”

So they designed a study using rats to see if virgin coconut oil and its antioxidant properties could protect the liver against oxidative stress caused by chemotherapy cancer drugs. They saw a definite improvement in liver function from the group that consumed virgin coconut oil.
